DIY Glue Spiderwebs

I'm in full Halloween mode over here, so that means a lot of making decorations. Today's project was incredibly easy - glue spiderwebs.

What you need:
  • hot glue
  • construction paper

All you need to do is draw a spiderweb on a piece of construction paper with hot glue. You can use a pen or pencil first if you choose, but it's really pretty straightforward and spiderwebs honestly look fine when they're a little messy. You'll want to make your lines of glue pretty thick, because it makes the next step a little easier.

When the glue has dried, begin ripping the paper off the outside of the web, and then rip it from in between the web as well. This should go pretty quickly if your glue lines are solid, but if they're a little thin at parts then you might have to do a little touching up with extra glue afterward. When you're done, you should have a spooky looking web to hang up on your wall or display on a table. I'm thinking about making a bunch of them this year!
