Giveaway: Not Crazy, Creative

I have such a fun giveaway lined up for you today! The reason it's so exciting is because there are SO many different things you could possibly win. Kim, from {not}crazy, just a little... creative is offering up a $20 shop credit that can be used to buy something in her shop or a little custom piece. Before we get to the details, let's learn more about Kim...

Tell us a little about yourself.
well, i'm kim. 34 y/o and german. i lived in st. paul, MN for a year in 97/98 and have been dating my american man for eleven years now, which is why my "online life" is almost 100% happening in english. i always write in lower case - even at work. during the day i work as a media designer at an advertising agency. in my free time i like to sew, take pictures, see my friends, be creative, watch tv and sleep :) i've had a few rough years dealing with depression and my weight issues but am feeling much better and like myself again now. being creative has helped me tremendously during that time ...
When did you first get into making things?
i always liked making things. even renovating the apartment, coming up with fun and unusual storage/furniture. i used to only make things every once in a while, usually for friends/family for b-day, christmas and such. then last year in december i bought my first (used, crappy, old, cheap)  sewing machine and LOVED working with it from day 1. for my birthday in february of this year i bought myself a nice, new machine and really got into it. i started sewing little stuffed monsters as gifts (that i named "sockenmollis" later on) and other handy things mostly because it was something i wanted or friends asked me if i could make it. shortly after that i opened my shop on dawanda (which is like etsy in europe).

What is your favorite part about running a shop?
the fact that other people enjoy what i make. i love knowing that someone will give a "sockenmolli" to a friend as a b-day-gift, to a new baby or just enjoy it themselves. i love that people use a keychain i made on a daily basis and maybe even think of me when they use it. it still puzzles me to think that all my wonderful customers out there actually like what i make. that's definitely my favorite part about running a shop.

If you could have dinner with anyone, dead or alive, who would you choose? And what would you talk about?
my dad. he passed away when i was nineteen years old and i have just recently during therapy started dealing with that loss. there are so many things i would like to talk to him about, a lot of facts i didn't know when i was a teenager and really cold and distant with him. i would like to tell him how much i miss him, how much i needed him around when i was growing up and how much i love him.

Such an honest and heartfelt interview from Kim! And now for some giveaway details:
