In my future dream house, I have a lot of wants, but none greater than a wrap-around porch. I want a place to relax with my coffee in the morning and a pitcher of lemonade during the summer. I want a little swing bench and maybe a little table and chairs. Ideally, it would be attached to an old victorian home or a country farmhouse. And ideally ideally it would have a pretty view like this one.
Wouldn't that be awesome? What are some of your "must haves" for your dream house?

agreed... its just so relaxing to sit and read or just plain relax and stare into nothing. Front porch is a def. must =)
ReplyDeleteThat sounds like the perfect front porch! For myself, no dream house is complete without a giant library (think: Beauty and the Beast library).
ReplyDeleteAgreed! I would also like glass front kitchen cabinets, wood floors, a big back yard, and a laundry room.
ReplyDeleteOh gosh, that's beautiful! :]
ReplyDeleteA breathtaking view would be a must-have. I also want a gym!
By the way, I’m having an international Pura Vida bracelets giveaway so come check it out! :]

ReplyDeleteWrap around porches are the best! Especially when you have the views to match :) It's definitely on my list of dream house "wants"!
ReplyDeletei want my own crafting space! and yes a front/back porch to watch birds in, complete with a porch swing, and coffee table!
ReplyDeleteI love my front porch, but a swing would be a great addition to it for sure!
ReplyDeleteOh, to have view of some body of water! Any body, really. But high on my list is his and hers closets!
ReplyDeleteLove this- so dreamy. In fact, loved your choice so much, I spent 20 minutes browsing through your blog. Particularly love the "Laney Boggs Style" article. :)

Ahh! I have always dreamed of a wrap around porch. That view doesn't hurt either :)
ReplyDeleteA country farmhouse is the way to go!
ReplyDeleteOh, I love it!
ReplyDeleteI'd just stare at the water!
I definitely would love some sort of outdoor space, like a porch or deck! Also, the biggest thing, is that I'm allowed to have a dog there. Why do I keep living in these no-dogs-allowed places? So when I have my place, I'm gonna live by my rules! :)
ReplyDeleteLOVE this!!
ReplyDeleteLovely porch!
ReplyDeleteAlso, such a clever blurb! "One part Martha Stewart, two parts Liz Lemon"
Such a pretty porch! Stopping by from Gussy Sews!
ReplyDeletea man cave complete with pool table and a killer bar set up.
ReplyDeletealso, a library filled with thousands of old books and giant leather chairs to read them in.
and an inground pool with a waterfall so i dont get caught skinny dipping in my neighbors anymore :(
