Inspiration Workshop: The Front Porch

In my future dream house, I have a lot of wants, but none greater than a wrap-around porch. I want a place to relax with my coffee in the morning and a pitcher of lemonade during the summer. I want a little swing bench and maybe a little table and chairs. Ideally, it would be attached to an old victorian home or a country farmhouse. And ideally ideally it would have a pretty view like this one.

Wouldn't that be awesome? What are some of your "must haves" for your dream house?

  2. That sounds like the perfect front porch! For myself, no dream house is complete without a giant library (think: Beauty and the Beast library).

  16. I definitely would love some sort of outdoor space, like a porch or deck! Also, the biggest thing, is that I'm allowed to have a dog there. Why do I keep living in these no-dogs-allowed places? So when I have my place, I'm gonna live by my rules! :)

  19. a man cave complete with pool table and a killer bar set up.

also, a library filled with thousands of old books and giant leather chairs to read them in.

and an inground pool with a waterfall so i dont get caught skinny dipping in my neighbors anymore :(
