What do you do when you're feeling "blah?" The weather here has been super gray and I have a few semi-boring/frustrating projects I'm working on right now, so I've been going through one of those little funks recently.
It's nothing big of course, just one of those things we all go through every so often. When it happens, I try to dress up a little more than usual. I especially like wearing yellow and/or gold because they are my favorite colors and they just feel a little more bright and happy. Even though I don't feel like really dressing up at first, it usually helps me feel more human than just sitting in sweats all day.
Other things that make my days a little brighter: fresh-brewed tea, taking a break in the afternoon to sew or knit, walking or exercising outside (weather permitting), browsing vintage shops for pretty dresses, cleaning and organizing my workspace, and reading or browsing magazines.
