Ribbon Flower Hairpin

This project is so easy it will literally take you less than two minutes. I'm serious. You can time it. All you need is:

  • One pretty wired ribbon (about a foot long)
  • Bobby pin or alligator clip
  • Hot glue

First you'll need to fold the end of one of the wires as shown (this is just to keep that end in place for the next step)

At the other end of that same wire, you need to pull the wire out from the ribbon, scrunching up the ribbon toward the folded edge of the wire.  Do this until the entire side of the wire is scrunched up toward one end, and the majority of the wire is exposed.

Rap the ribbon around itself a few times (as tight as it can go) so that it looks like a flower.  Rap the excess wire around the scrunchy end of the ribbon. Secure the wire and cut any excess.

Glue the bottom of the flower to the top of the alligator clip and let it dry.

That's it! Told you it wouldn't take long ;)
