This guest post is brought to you by the girls of Common Threads, who have a really cute tutorial to share with you, as well as a giveaway up on their blog (which they have extended just for you!) So go enter now!

Hi all, we are super excited to be guest blogging for Anne while she is away! "We" is actually Jessi, Cassie and myself (Mandi) of Common Threads where we recently did up a tutorial on how to make this cute Granny Square Pincushion, and we wanted to share it with you! There is also a great little granny square tutorial here!

You will need:

  • 1 granny square
  • felt
  • stuffing
  • needle and thread

1. Cut 2 squares of felt slightly larger than your granny square. I made mine 4 inches by 4 inches.

2. Sew three sides together.

3. Flip square out so seems are on the inside. Stuff felt square and sew last seem together so you end up with a stuffed felt square.

4. Sew granny square to top of felt square. And you are done!

I think they would make great little presents for Christmas and they where an easy little project to whip up. We are holding a giveaway for one right now so make sure you stop by our blog and enter!
