Lion Hat

I've been wanting to knit a lion hat for awhile, but I kept putting it off. It wasn't the actual hat that was the problem, but the mane. I imagined spending hours just tying little strands of yarn around the hat. It wouldn't be a lot of fun. Then one day, I was getting some items together to donate to goodwill, and I found this coat that hat some faux fur along the inside of the hood. I had a lightbulb moment and detached the fur strip to use as the mane.

I'd like to find one that's a bit darker, but I think this one works wonderfully. And most importantly, it saved me from hours of tedious work.
