{DIY Business Cards}
Many of you are small business owners, or aspiring small business owners. Part of running your small creative business is creating a strong brand image. For that, you'll need a few staples. One very important thing that many people don't think about right away is business cards and tags. This tutorial will give you a good base for getting started. For even more insight, please visit Elizabeth's blog.
What You'll Need:
- Computer
- Printer
- Avery Clear Custom Labels
- Shipping Tags
Steps:
- Create a 4x6 document in photoshop or another image editing software
- Play around with the layout to create your desired label size and design
- Once you've created your label, copy and paste the labels into a larger document (8x10) so that the document is almost full
- Adjust your printer settings if necessary (these cards were printed on 8 1/2 x 11 paper on the luster paper setting)
- Use a straight edge and exacto knife to cut the cards
- Peel the labels off the backing and stick them onto shipping labels
- Add a personal touch! Use ribbon, yarn, or whatever to attach your tags
I really think these turned out so well. I have business cards, but they're not quite this cute. I think I'm definitely going to try this one out. You should too!
